Ladies and Gentlemen:

We, the Vietnamese-American citizens are gathered here today to denounce the communists of China, a high ranked member in the Security Council of the United Nations, for their imperialist and aggressive ways in Southeast Asia. In fact, the communists of China have occupied several thousand square miles of land in Northern Vietnam including the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands which have belonged to Vietnam for thousands of years. The communist regime of China is responsible for the deaths of many innocent Vietnamese residents who make an honest and modest living by fishing around those islands.

The world community also understands that the communist ideology is not accepted by the majority of the Chinese people because it takes away basic human rights and destroys civilization. Many Chinese citizens have protested the communist system of China. Protests of the democratic movements include those of Mr. Ho Dieu Bang, Trieu Tu Duong the Tiananmen Square Event, the Falun Gong Spiritual Expression, Mr. Nguy Kinh Sinh and Mr.. Ho Giai’s Chinese democratic organizations around the world. The joint efforts of many more are set forth to eradicate the Chinese communist party in order to restore democracy for China and peace for the region. Now it is time the chinese communist party must realize that their communist master in Russia. along with many eastern European nations have abandoned Marxism and buried communist manifesto at Moscow cemetery and they have integrated into the democratic world communities.

Preoccupied with expansionism, the communist Chinese government has invaded Tibet and is now trying to repeat their barbaric behavior with Vietnam. Shame on you communists of China! We will defeat you similar to. how you were defeated by our ancestors many thousands of years ago. China must understand that the respect of any national sovereignty is the responsibility of every member of the United Nations. Every member state must practice to live with tolerance with other states as good neighbors and to employ international machinery for the promotion of the economic and social advancement of all peoples as emphasized by the preamble of the charter of the United Nations. However, the communists of China have brought sufferings to many neighboring countries including Vietnam. Clearly, the communists of China have betrayed and dishonored their solemn pledges with the United Nations and violated the international bill of rights when they invaded the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands of Vietnam. Due to this offense and countless others, China must be expelled from the United Nations as mentioned in Article 6 chapter II of the U.N. charter.

We, the Vietnamese-American citizens strongly believe that the respect of human rights and respect for national sovereignty is the foundation for world peace and civilization. And the W.T.O. the globalization of the new millennium are good opportunities for countries to help one another, and not to harm each other. We will also form allied forces with other Pacific countries to stop any aggression from China.

We will also ask that our American government reconsider diplomatic relations with China and discontinue all business related activities with this evil empire. As taxpayers, voters, and builders of the United States of America we trust that our government respects and believes in human rights arid will listen to the aspirations of their citizens.

Again, Chinese aggression is a threat to peace and security of the region. Therefore we urge the United Nations and the world community enforce international laws to prevent Beijing from invading the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands and many other regions of Vietnam.

Thank you for your time, your attention, and for your support.
