The Vietnamese people in Arizona has verified and judged that there are many flaws in the education system of the Vietnamese Socialist of Vietnam in forming and educating young Vietnamese adults and students in Vietnam.  Vietnamese students are inferior in technical knowledge compared to other students in the neighboring countries, creativity is suppressed, and morality is decreasing thus creating many serious consequences which are corrupted society, percentage of poverty is among the highest in Asia, economy is at the lowest point in history.  In addition, because of lack of wealth and economic power, the Vietnamese Socialist government is allowing China to invade its territories and islands inconsiderately.

 

            The Vietnamese people in the state of Arizona are demanding the Socialist government of Vietnam to comply with the following requests:

 

  1. Abandon the educational policy that caused a feud between the northern and the southern Vietnamese, a feud with Americans because of the war in Vietnam.
  2. Vietnam must adapt an educational system that emphasizes on humanism, people need to care for one another, unite with each other to blend in with other global communities.
  3. In schools and universities, the socialist government must treat all students equally whether they are children of their own government officials or of former officers.
  4. Do not neglect the children who are in financial needs and those from the rural areas.
  5. Immediately establish genuine morality in the schools, including one comes from teachers and professors.
  6. Allow the universities to operate autonomously in administration and teaching method.
  7. Allow the students to freely express their thoughts.  Do not limit their creativity in the educational system.
  8. Must utilize the true talents around the country even though there might be a difference in religious belief.
  9. Must realize that education is the foundation of a successful economy and it can only be developed in a free environment.
  10. Must place the foundation of  education on top of the historical culture of Vietnam
